Troy Ward is a Licenced Mental Health Counselor. He earned his BA and MA from The University of Northern Iowa, majoring in religion, philosophy, and mental health counseling.
Troy has more than ten years’ experience working with children and adults dealing with mental illnesses, intellectual disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor as well as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
Troy’s theoretical orientation is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Informed Care. He specializes in treating depression and anxiety, borderline personality disorder, trauma, grief, and relationship issues.
